Lot 1159:
A Lot of 38 Mixed Ammunition Cartridges and Components, .308 Winchester (WIN)
Sold for: $25
Description
This lot consists of 38 items of mixed ammunition and components primarily chambered in .308 Winchester. The lot includes two partial original cardboard boxes and loose cartridges/casings. The first box is a worn red and white Winchester Super-X box for centerfire cartridges. The second box is a worn brown and red Norma box labeled “.308 Cartridges,” specifically identified as Olympic Championship Match Grade ammunition. The loose components and the rounds within the boxes are brass-cased with copper-jacketed projectiles. Headstamps visible on the rounds confirm the caliber as .308 Winchester (WIN) or .308, with manufacturers including Winchester and Norma. The loose components include both full live rounds and empty casings/primed cases in a clear plastic tray. This collection of mixed ammunition is suitable for reloading or collecting.
Condition report:
The overall physical condition of the revolver is very good to excellent. The high-polish blued finish is deep and bright, retaining nearly all of its original finish with minimal evidence of handling or use. The cylinder shows only faint drag lines, suggesting limited firing or cycling. The brass components are bright and polished. The wood grips are excellent, free of major chips, cracks, or significant scratches. The action appears to function correctly, cycling the cylinder and locking the hammer securely. The bore appears bright with sharp rifling, consistent with minimal use. We have not function-tested this firearm with powder or caps, and we do not guarantee the safety or mechanical function of any antique or replica firearm. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
