Description
This is one F. LLI Pietta Replica 1858 Remington New Model Army Percussion Revolver, chambered for .44 caliber black powder. This single-action, six-shot revolver features a large, heavy octagonal barrel and a closed frame design characteristic of the original Remington New Model Army. The revolver exhibits a high-polish blued finish on the steel components, including the barrel, frame, and cylinder. The trigger guard and front grip strap are constructed of polished brass. The grips are two-piece dark reddish-brown wood. The firearm is equipped with a fixed post front sight and a groove rear sight. The barrel is marked BLACK POWDER ONLY 44 CAL. The manufacturer’s engraving F. LLI PIETTA – MADE IN ITALY is visible on the barrel, along with various Italian proof marks including CIP and PN. The date code CK (indicating 2014 manufacture) is stamped near the frame and cylinder. The serial number R469302 is clearly visible stamped on the heel of the butt strap. The number 2015 is also visible on the underside of the barrel. This firearm is classified as a modern black powder replica and is typically considered an Antique for legal purposes in many jurisdictions.

Condition report:
The magazines are in used condition, displaying moderate to heavy finish wear, scratches, and fouling consistent with extensive use. The blackened finish is worn, particularly along the edges and insertion points. All baseplates show handling marks; the metal baseplates show surface scratching and minor dings. The springs and followers appear intact, but we have not function-tested these magazines for reliability or capacity retention.
