Lot 1168:
Vintage Bair Precision Reloading Dies Set of Three in Blue Case
Sold for: $20
Description
A vintage set of Bair Precision Reloading Dies manufactured in Lincoln, Nebraska. The set includes three metal components: two large threaded dies with knurled adjustment rings and one smaller central rod/pin assembly, housed in the original blue plastic storage case. The case lid features the embossed text PRECISION DIES and LINCOLN, NEBR., centered around the circular Bair logo depicting a standing bear. These dies are used for precision ammunition reloading.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good used condition. The matte black finish shows light surface wear, minor scratches, and handling marks consistent with field use. The synthetic stock and forend are sound, showing minor scuffs but no major cracks or damage. The fiber optic sights are intact and clear. The action appears to function correctly, locking securely when closed, and the hammer operates smoothly. We have not function-tested this firearm with powder or projectile. The bore condition is unknown as the breech plug was not removed for inspection.
