Description
This auction lot featuring a Harrington & Richardson Topper Model 158 single-shot, break-action shotgun. The firearm is chambered for .410 Gauge and features a fixed choke. The receiver is marked TOPPER MODEL 158 and HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON, INC. The barrel is marked .410 GAUGE-P FULL CHOKE. Additional patent information is present on the receiver, reading AD U.S. PAT. 2876576. The action is a simple, hammer-fired, break-action design. The furniture consists of a wooden buttstock and separate wooden forend. The buttstock is fitted with a red/brown polymer buttplate stamped H&R ARMS CO. and features six integrated holes designed to hold extra shells. No serial number is clearly visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The collection is in new to excellent, unused condition. The polymer construction shows only minor mold lines and surface variations typical of the manufacturing process. There is no evidence of wear, cracking, or significant deformation. As these are inert training aids, functionality is limited to cycling through a firearm action and absorbing the impact of the firing pin during dry fire. We have not function-tested these rounds in a firearm. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
