Lot 1190:
A Large Lot of 9mm Luger Orange Polymer Dummy Rounds Snap Caps for Dry Fire Training
Sold for: $35
Description
This offering is for a bulk lot of inert 9mm Luger caliber training aids, commonly known as snap caps or dummy rounds. These items are constructed entirely of bright orange polymer/plastic, designed to be reusable for dry fire practice and function testing without damaging the firearm’s firing pin. The rounds replicate the external dimensions of a standard 9mm cartridge, featuring an integral projectile shape and a simulated rim/extractor groove base. The use of orange polymer clearly identifies them as inert training devices intended for dry fire training. No manufacturer markings, proof marks, or serial numbers are present on the individual rounds. The items are non-firearm components and are legally classified as training aids, not ammunition.
Measurements: Not applicable
Condition report:
The ammunition is in excellent, new-old-stock condition. Four of the five boxes appear factory-sealed, and the fifth box was opened for inspection, revealing bright, clean brass casings and intact polymer-tipped projectiles. There is no visible corrosion, tarnishing, or damage to the cartridges. The black and gold factory boxes are crisp with minimal shelf wear. This is live ammunition and must be handled appropriately. We have not function-tested this ammunition. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
