Description
A complete RCBS Neck Die Set for the .243 Winchester cartridge, identified by Model 11402. This set is designed for neck sizing only, which minimizes case stretching and extends brass life for bolt-action rifles. The set is housed in its original bright green hinged polymer case, embossed with the RCBS OMARK INDUSTRIES logo. The side label clearly identifies the contents as a NECK DIE SET .243 WIN, Model 11402, QTY. 1 (set), and recommends the use of Shell Holder #3 (Shell holder not included). The set contains two machined steel reloading dies, both featuring bright finishes and knurled bodies for easy manipulation. One die includes the adjustable stem assembly with a decapping pin and expander ball visible. The lot also includes the original folded instruction manual for RCBS Reloading Dies.
Condition report:
The firearm is in well-used condition, displaying heavy wear and metal corrosion. The original blued finish on the metal components has largely deteriorated, transitioning to a dark brown patina with widespread patches of surface rust and oxidation, particularly visible on the barrel and receiver edges. The wood stock features a reddish lacquer finish, which is heavily worn, exhibiting numerous deep scratches, dents, and areas where the finish has flaked off. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, but we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The bore condition is unknown without further inspection.
