Description
A single Bushmaster Firearms International (B.F.I., Windham, ME) XM15-E2S semi-automatic rifle built on the AR-15 platform. The lower receiver is clearly marked with the manufacturer’s logo (Cobra), "B.F.I. WINDHAM, ME. U.S.A., " and the specific model designation "MOD. XM15-E2S." The caliber marking reads "CAL. 223 5.56MM." The serial number BFI690104 is present on the lower receiver. The rifle features a flat-top upper receiver, allowing for the mounting of optics. The barrel is marked "5.56 Nato 1-9" indicating the caliber and twist rate, and is fitted with a birdcage style flash hider. The rifle utilizes a fixed A2-style polymer buttstock and a grooved polymer pistol grip. It is fitted with an aftermarket round, ventilated free-float handguard. Condition report:
The overall condition of all three accessories is excellent. The matte black polymer finish shows minimal signs of handling or use. The rail mounting systems appear intact and functional. The internal spring mechanisms for bipod deployment appear sound, and the legs lock securely when extended and retracted. We have not function-tested these accessories on a live firearm platform.
