Description
This is one Hi-Point Firearms Model 995 semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine, chambered in 9mm x 19. The configuration is consistent with the later 995TS model, featuring a skeletonized polymer buttstock and a ribbed polymer forend with multiple integrated Picatinny rail sections. The action is a straight blowback design. The carbine is finished with a glossy black receiver shroud and matte black polymer furniture. Manufacturer markings are clearly visible on the receiver shroud: MODEL HI-POINT FIREARMS 995, STRASSELLS MACH INC, MANSFIELD, OH, and CAL 9MM X 19. The serial number F116782 is visible on a metal plate recessed into the left side of the frame. The carbine is equipped with an aftermarket PINEU 3-9X40 variable-power optic mounted via scope rings on the integrated top rail. The optic features a duplex reticle. One black detachable box magazine with witness holes is included.
