Description
A modern Mossberg Model 500E pump-action shotgun configured for home security use. The firearm is chambered for .410 Bore 2 1/2 and 3 inch shells. The metal components feature a matte black finish. The barrel is marked "18 1/2 IN. HOME SECURITY" and is fitted with a perforated muzzle device and a brass bead front sight. The furniture consists of black synthetic components, including a full buttstock with a rubber recoil pad and a non-standard vertical T-grip fore-end. Visible markings on the receiver base include "Mossberg MADE IN U.S.A. NORTH HAVEN, CONN 500E .410 BORE". The full serial number is L469417.

Condition report:
The barrel is in very good to excellent condition, retaining its original satin stainless finish with only minor surface handling marks visible, primarily on the exterior bearing surfaces. The bore is bright and exhibits clear, sharp land-and-groove rifling, indicating minimal use. The recoil spring assembly appears complete, though the spring itself shows a wavy, slightly compressed profile. We have not function-tested these components in a host firearm.
