Description
A group of four new old stock (NOS) firearms magazines manufactured by Mec-Gar. These magazines are specifically designed for the Walther PPK pistol, chambered in .380 ACP (9mm Kurz), and feature a 6-round capacity. Each magazine is constructed of black finished steel (likely blued or phosphatized) and includes a flat baseplate. The items are individually sealed in original Mec-Gar cardboard and plastic blister packaging. Visible markings on the packaging include the manufacturer name Mec-Gar, the model application WALTHER PPK, and the country of origin MADE IN ITALY visible on at least one magazine body and the packaging reverse. The packaging reverse also lists compatibility with the .32 ACP model, but the specific product code MGWPPKSTB visible on one package indicates the standard 6-round .380 ACP model.
Condition report:
The press shows visible signs of moderate use and wear consistent with a working reloading tool. The speckled green finish is largely intact but shows dust and surface discoloration. The long steel handle rod exhibits significant surface patina and light surface rust on the exposed steel sections. The unfinished steel linkage arms and ram assembly show wear marks from operation. A piece of light gray tape is affixed to the main frame arch, and a rubber band is visible around the ram, suggesting minor user modifications or temporary fixes. The mechanism appears to function correctly, moving smoothly through its cycle. We have not function-tested this press with dies or ammunition components.
