The factual quantity for this lot is 100 rounds. The lot includes five distinct retail boxes, each containing 20 cartridges, totaling 100 rounds, along with illustrative loose cartridges shown in red and black plastic trays. Specific loadings included are Winchester 5.56mm 55 Grain Full Metal Jacket (Q3131A), Frontier Cartridge (Hornady) .223 Remington 55 Grain FMJ, Fiocchi Exacta Rifle Match .223 Remington 77 Grain MatchKing HPBT, PMC Bronze .223 Remington 55 Grain FMJ-BT, and Russian-made Hunting Cartridges .223 Rem 55 Grain FMJ (noted as non-corrosive steel case, boxer primed). Headstamps visible on the loose brass-cased cartridges include PMC 223 REM.
Condition report:
The overall condition is poor to fair. The original nickel plating is heavily compromised, exhibiting widespread flaking, scratching, and wear, with significant loss of finish across the frame and barrel. There are extensive areas of brown surface rust and heavy pitting, particularly concentrated on the cylinder, the muzzle, and inside the frame hinge area where the barrel meets the frame. The bore condition is unknown but likely heavily pitted given the external corrosion. The hard rubber grips are intact but show handling wear; the medallions are present. The double-action mechanism appears to function when tested, but we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The revolver contains one visible cartridge in the cylinder. Due to the presence of rust and pitting, this firearm should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire it.
