Description
A single Harrington & Richardson (H&R) Automatic Ejecting Double Action top-break revolver. This example is chambered for the .38 S&W cartridge and features a six-shot fluted cylinder and a nickel-plated finish. The revolver utilizes a top-break mechanism which automatically ejects spent casings upon opening the action. The barrel rib is clearly marked with the manufacturer and patent information: HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARM. COMPANY / WORCESTER MASS. U.S.A. PAT’D OCT. 4. 1887. The grips are black checkered hard rubber featuring the circular H&R target-style medallion logo. The partial serial or assembly number 41601 is visible on the underside of the barrel extension when the action is open. One live cartridge is visible loaded in one chamber of the cylinder. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
Condition report:
All three magazines are in new, unused condition, sealed within their original factory packaging. The steel bodies appear to retain 100% of the factory blue finish, protected by the plastic wrap. The exterior plastic packaging shows minor superficial dust and shelf wear consistent with retail storage. Each package bears a sticker indicating a price of $35.00. We have not function-tested these accessories.
