Description

This lot consists of 40 rounds of vintage centerfire rifle ammunition, specifically identified as Winchester .220 Swift ammunition. The cartridges are housed within two vintage Williams Handloader’s Cartridge Boxes SR-20. The boxes are marked QUALITY MADE by Williams Gun Sight Company, Davison, Michigan. The packaging indicates the boxes accommodate various calibers including 6.5 JAP, 31 JAP, 30-06, 270, 8MM, and 30-40. The 220 swift ammunition visible features brass casings with W-W SUPER headstamps, loaded with copper-jacketed spitzer projectiles, consistent with factory Winchester loads. The total verified quantity is 40 rounds.
Condition: The two Williams Handloader’s Cartridge Boxes SR-20 show moderate wear, fading, and minor surface abrasions appropriate for vintage cardboard packaging. The internal partitioned trays are intact. The 40 rounds of .220 Swift ammunition are in good overall condition. The brass casings exhibit minor expected storage tarnish and patina, but no heavy corrosion or pitting is apparent. The projectiles appear firmly seated. This ammunition is sold as a collector’s item only; we have not tested its functionality or safety.
