Description
Plano Protector Series Single Rifle/Shotgun Case constructed from black molded polymer. This hard case is designed for the secure transport and storage of a single long gun. The exterior features a prominent molded relief carving depicting a detailed woodland hunting scene, including deer and a bear, consistent with the Protector Series aesthetic. The case utilizes a central carrying handle, molded feet for stable upright storage, and four robust hinge/latch points. The interior is lined with black egg-crate style foam in both the lid and base, providing cushioning and retention for the contents. The case is designed to accommodate a long gun up to approximately 52 inches in length.

Condition report:
The overall condition is fair to good, consistent with a vintage utility rifle that saw regular use. The metal components, including the barrel and receiver, retain a worn blued finish, showing significant thinning, scuffing, and minor surface cosmetic wear across the length. The bolt handle is bright polished metal. The wooden stock displays numerous scratches, dings, impressions, and areas of finish loss, particularly on the buttstock and forend. The bore appears generally clean but we have not inspected it thoroughly. The bolt action appears to function correctly, cycling and cocking when operated manually. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
