Description
A lot of 100 rounds of Sellier & Bellot centerfire rifle ammunition, packaged in five factory boxes, each containing 20 cartridges. The specific load is 6,8 mm Remington SPC (6.8 SPC) utilizing a 110 grain (7,1g) Polymer Tip Spitzer (PTS) projectile, designed for hunting and target shooting. The product number is identified on the packaging as No. 22720 / SB68B. The ammunition features brass cases and green-tipped projectiles, visible in the opened box. Headstamps visible on the cartridges read S&B 6.8 SPC. The packaging provides detailed ballistic data, including muzzle velocity (V0) of 2549 ft/s (777 m/s) and muzzle energy (E0) of 1587 ft.lbs (2152 J). This lot consists of five individual boxes, totaling 100 rounds.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in fair overall condition, showing extensive operational wear consistent with age and use. The barrel retains a heavily worn blued finish, exhibiting widespread patina, thinning, and areas of surface rust and light pitting, particularly toward the muzzle. The receiver shows traces of its original case-hardened finish, which is now heavily worn, silvered out, and blotchy, with significant surface discoloration and pitting present. The action appears to function correctly, cocking and releasing the hammer when tested. The bore is dark and requires cleaning, but appears serviceable. The wooden furniture shows heavy cosmetic wear, including numerous scratches, dents, and dings throughout the buttstock. A noticeable, significant crack is present in the wooden forearm near the receiver junction. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
