Condition report:
The firearm is in fair to poor overall cosmetic condition, showing significant wear and deterioration consistent with age and use. The receiver retains a worn, darkened finish showing scratches and patina, with approximately 30% finish remaining. The barrel displays extensive bare metal with widespread brown surface rust and moderate to heavy pitting throughout its length. The bore condition is unknown without specialized tools but appears dark at the muzzle. The hardwood furniture shows deep crackling and wear to the varnish, with various dings and scratches. The vintage, laced brown leather recoil boot/cover shows significant age, drying, and deterioration. The action appears to function correctly when manually cycled, but we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
