Description

A single Sturm, Ruger & Co. Mini-14 semi-automatic rifle, chambered in Caliber .223. This rifle is configured with a desirable factory-style stainless steel side-folding stock assembly, paired with a light-toned wood forend and a checkered black polymer pistol grip. The action is gas-operated. The finish is a combination of satin stainless steel on the receiver, barrel, and folding stock components, contrasted by a blued or high-gloss black perforated steel handguard/heat shield. Sighting systems include an adjustable rear aperture sight and a fixed front post sight. The muzzle is fitted with a slotted flash hider/muzzle device. Markings visible on the receiver heel include RUGER MINI-14 (R) CAL. .223 and STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. The serial number 186-06334 is clearly marked on the receiver side. The rifle is displayed without an attached magazine.
Condition: The rifle is in very good overall condition, consistent with light operational use. The stainless steel components retain their satin finish with minor handling marks and light scratches visible, particularly on the receiver flats and the folding stock assembly. The blued steel handguard retains a high degree of its finish but shows some light surface scratches. The wood forend is sound, showing attractive grain, with only minor compressions or dings. The polymer pistol grip is intact with sharp checkering. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually; however, we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The bore condition is unknown without further inspection. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
