Lot 1357:
Lot of 100 Fiocchi Fly Way Series Field Dynamics 12 Gauge 3 Inch Steel Shot Shells
Sold for: $45
Description
A lot consisting of 100 rounds of Fiocchi Fly Way Series Field Dynamics shotshell ammunition, packaged in four retail boxes of 25 shells each. These are 12 Gauge, 3-inch (76MM) high-velocity waterfowl loads, featuring 1 1/8 ounce of Zinc Plated Steel Shot, size #4, rated at 1500 feet per second (FPS). The packaging confirms the 123ST4 product code. The visible hulls are dark green polymer with brass bases, marked FIOCCHI WATERFOWL, confirming the 1 1/8 OZ steel load and 76MM length. This ammunition is designed for hunting migratory birds where non-toxic shot is required.
Condition report:
The overall physical condition is fair to poor due to significant external wear and oxidation on the steel components. The steel slide retains approximately 50% of its original dark finish, which is heavily scratched, scuffed, and marred. There is notable surface rust and oxidation present, particularly concentrated near the muzzle, the slide serrations, and along the top edges. The polymer frame is structurally sound but shows handling marks, scuffs, and residue consistent with heavy use. The bore appears generally bright with visible rifling. The action appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition, and it is sold as a collector\'s item. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
