Description
A single Springfield Armory Model XD-9 semi-automatic pistol, chambered in 9x19mm (9mm Luger). The firearm is identified by the serial number HD906956, which is stamped on the visible portion of the barrel/slide hood and on a metal plate inserted into the frame. This pistol features a matte black finished slide and a black polymer frame. The frame is marked SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A. and SPRINGFIELD INC. GENESEO, IL MADE IN CROATIA. The slide is marked XD-9. The pistol is configured with fixed three-dot sights and an integral accessory rail on the dust cover. The action is striker-fired. Included with the pistol is one detached, stainless steel, detachable box magazine with a black polymer baseplate.
Condition report:
The overall condition of both knives is good, consistent with light to moderate use. The large Bowie knife blade shows minor surface scratching and wear marks typical of stainless steel. The brass guard and pommel show minor tarnishing and patina. The wooden handle is sound with no major cracks. The associated sheath is worn, with some darkening and scuffing to the leather, but the lacing and toggle remain intact. The smaller forged knife blade retains its dark finish and hammered texture, with minor bright scratching on the cutting edge. The handle scales are intact. Its accompanying sheath is structurally sound but shows surface wear, scuffing, and minor discoloration.
