Description
The lot consists of one Walther PPS (Police Pistol Slim) semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W, accompanied by three magazines, presented in its original hard case. The pistol features a black polymer frame and a matte black finished steel slide. The serial number AJ1436 is present on the slide, the metal frame insert, and the barrel hood, ensuring matching components. The firearm is of German manufacture, marked Carl Walther Ulm/Do. Made in Germany. Import marking on the right side of the slide reads WALTHER ARMS FORT SMITH, AR. The caliber .40 S&W is clearly marked on the barrel hood. German proof marks include the Ulm stag horn and the Eagle/N nitro proof, alongside the date code BD, indicating manufacture in 2013. The pistol utilizes a striker-fired mechanism and features interchangeable backstraps, one of which is currently installed, and a spare knurled backstrap module is included. The Outers cardboard boxes (Gunslick Patches and Stock Finish Kit components) exhibit significant shelf wear, including noticeable staining, creases, edge tears, and general discoloration consistent with vintage storage. The black plastic Outers Stock Finish Kit No. 455 case is structurally sound but shows minor scuffing. The sealed plastic packaging for the game bags (D&H and Dickson) and the Skii\'r\'s Anti-Fog Cloth show typical wrinkling, minor scuffs, and some price stickers applied directly to the plastic. The generic bag of plastic bags is factory sealed with minor wrinkling to the outer plastic. Contents are presumed intact and unused, though the chemical components in the Outers kit are vintage and their efficacy cannot be guaranteed.
