Lot 1421:
A Group of Eight Vintage Sporting Goods and Gun Cleaning Accessories Collection
Description
This collection consists of eight distinct vintage or new-old-stock items primarily focused on outdoor sports, hunting, and firearm maintenance. The lot is anchored by components from Outers Laboratories, including the Outers Stock Finish Kit No. 455 presented in its original black plastic carrying case. Auxiliary views confirm this kit contains two bottles of Gun Stock liquids (Stain & Filler, Oil Finish) and a package of steel wool, all appearing full and unused. Also included are two yellow cardboard boxes from Outers, one containing Gunslick Shotgun Cleaning Patches and another containing components for a general Stock Finish Kit. The lot features two sealed big game bags: one D&H Products DEER-BAG BIG GAME BAG (Model DH-501) and one Dickson WESTERN Sportsman GAME BAG (Model DSB-100). Completing the collection are a sealed Skii’r’s C96 Brand Anti-Fog Cloth package designed for goggles and ski goods, and a factory-sealed plastic bag containing 100 generic 4×6 inch, 2 MIL plastic bags. All contents are believed to be unused and in their original packaging.
Condition report:
The ammunition boxes are in fair to poor condition, showing significant shelf wear, tears, discoloration, and heavy handwritten markings. The loaded cartridges (39 count) appear generally clean with bright brass, though some minor tarnish is present consistent with age. The two loose, empty brass casings are heavily tarnished, oxidized, and show neck wear, consistent with having been fired or stored in poor conditions. We have not function-tested this ammunition. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
