Description
This lot consists of a Winchester Model 1300 Defender pump-action shotgun shown. The representative firearm is chambered for 12 Gauge, accepting both 2¾ and 3-inch shells. The action type is pump-action, utilizing a full-length tube magazine. The shotgun features a highly polished, deep black blued finish on the barrel and receiver. The furniture is wood, including a grooved pump forend and a traditional buttstock fitted with a black rubber Winchester-branded recoil pad. Sighting is achieved via a brass bead front sight. Visible barrel markings read: WINCHESTER MODEL 1300 DEFENDER 12 GA. 2¾ & 3″ / MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL. The serial number visible on the receiver of the representative example is L2884142.
Condition report:
All three accessories appear to be in excellent, near-new condition. The polymer finish is consistent and free of significant scratches, gouges, or operational wear. The matte black finish is uniform. The mounting hardware (screws and rail interface) is clean. The bipod deployment mechanism appears to function correctly on the examples shown. We have not function-tested this accessory under live fire conditions.
