Description
This lot consists of a Hornady Custom-Grade New Dimension Series I Full Length 2 Die Set, designed for the .223 Remington caliber. The set is housed in its original red hinged plastic case. This equipment is intended for the precise reloading of rifle cartridges.
Condition report:
The overall condition is fair to good, exhibiting significant finish wear consistent with age and use. The original bluing on the barrel and receiver is heavily degraded, showing large areas of oxidation, brown patina, and surface pitting, particularly forward of the receiver ring. Less than 40% of the original finish remains on the metal surfaces. The bolt body shows bright metal wear and some discoloration. The hardwood stock retains a moderate gloss finish but displays numerous handling marks, light scratches, and minor dings throughout, consistent with moderate field use. The Remington buttplate is intact. The action appears to function correctly, cycling the bolt and engaging the safety, however, we have not function-tested this firearm using live ammunition. The bore condition is unknown without a borescope. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
