Description
This lot consists of 50 rounds of Fiocchi Fly Way Series Field Dynamics shotshell ammunition, packaged in two (2) factory boxes, each marked for 25 shells. These are 12 Gauge, 3 inch (76MM) shells designed for waterfowl hunting, utilizing Zinc Plated Steel Shot. The load specifications are 1 1/8 ounce of #4 shot, achieving a muzzle velocity of 1500 FPS. Packaging is marked “FIOCCHI FLY WAY SERIES FIELD DYNAMICS” and “LOADED IN THE USA.” Visible markings on the green polymer hulls confirm “FIOCCHI STEEL WATERFOWL 1500 FPS STEEL 1 1/8 OZ 76MM.” The shells feature brass-colored high bases.
Condition report:
The firearm is in poor to fair cosmetic condition, showing heavy signs of age and wear. The original bright nickel plating is significantly degraded, exhibiting extensive flaking, pitting, and loss across the entire frame, cylinder, and barrel surfaces. This loss of finish has resulted in underlying patina and areas of surface rust, particularly on the frame flats and around screw heads. The checkered hard rubber grips are intact but show flattening and wear to the checkering, consistent with age. The action appears to function correctly in both single and double action modes, cycling the cylinder and locking up, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The bore condition is unknown but presumed to be dark and potentially pitted given the exterior condition.
