Hopkins & Allen Safety Police Top-Break Revolver, Serial Number G8400. This is a vintage five-shot revolver featuring a top-break frame and exposed hammer, operating in both single and double action modes. While no specific caliber marking is visible, the frame size and model type strongly suggest it is chambered for the .32 S&W cartridge, a common caliber for these small frame revolvers. The barrel is inscribed with the manufacturer and patent information: THE HOPKINS & ALLEN ARMS CO. NORWICH, CONN. U.S.A. PAT’D AUG 21/1905. The model designation SAFETY POLICE is also clearly visible on the top strap. The serial number G8400 is stamped on the butt of the frame. The grips are checkered black hard rubber or polymer featuring the circular Hopkins & Allen H&A logo on both panels.
Condition report:
Both items appear new and unused (Near Mint in Package - NMIP). The CONCEALED DESIGNS shirt is sealed in its original plastic packaging, which shows minor surface wear and dust accumulation, but the garment itself is pristine. The OUTDOOR RESEARCH Water Bottle Parka retains its original cardboard hang tag, though the tag exhibits minor corner fraying and light creasing consistent with storage.
