Description
This lot consists of a vintage Remington fixed-blade hunting knife accompanied by its original leather sheath. The knife features a polished steel clip-point blade with a finger guard and a dark reddish-brown jigged handle secured by brass rivets. The ricasso of this knife is clearly marked in a circular stamp with “U.S.A. REMINGTON U.M.C. MADE IN” surrounding the model designation “RH4.” This knife is consistent with Remington’s long history of producing high-quality hunting cutlery.
Condition report:
Vintage used condition consistent with age and use. The main plastic unit shows minor surface scuffing and expected discoloration or yellowing of the white plastic components. The faux leather carrying case is intact but shows creasing and wear to the surface. The paper instruction manuals are heavily folded, creased, yellowed, and fragile, showing significant signs of handling and age.
