Lot 1460:
A Pair of U.S. Air Force Collectibles: 1999 Airman's Manual 10-100 and Numbered Security Police Insignia Badge
Sold for: $20
Description
This lot contains two distinct U.S. Air Force collectibles. The first is the “AIRMAN’S MANUAL,” officially designated AIR FORCE MANUAL 10-100, dated 1 August 1999, published by the Department of the Air Force. This is a spiral-bound pocket reference manual featuring a color collage cover of military personnel and equipment. The second item is a highly detailed, silver-toned metal insignia badge identified as a “SECURITY POLICE” badge for the “DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE,” United States of America. The badge features a prominent eagle crest and is visibly inscribed with the number ‘144’ near the bottom rim, suggesting it is a specific issue or presentation piece. The badge is sealed within its original protective plastic sleeve inside a cardboard storage box.
Condition report:
The containers appear to be full and unused, consistent with new-old stock. The clear plastic jugs and proprietary black and yellow labels are clean, intact, and show no signs of wear, leakage, or damage. The media within both containers appears dry and ready for use.
