A Lot of 40 Rounds of 7.62 x 39mm Ammunition by Wolf and Winchester
Sold for: $25
Description
This lot consists of a collection of 40 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm rifle ammunition, divided into two distinct commercial packages. The total quantity in this lot is 40 cartridges, as verified by the original box contents. The first package is a black box of Wolf Performance Ammunition, marked 7.62 x 39mm, 122 GR. FMJ (Full Metal Jacket). This ammunition features gray steel cases and copper-jacketed projectiles. The box specifies the ammunition is Non-Corrosive, Berdan Primed, and Made in Russia. The second package is a silver Winchester Super X box, marked 7.62 x 39mm, 123 GR. Soft Point (SP). This ammunition features brass cases with visible “WINCHESTER 7.62x39MM” headstamps and copper-jacketed soft point projectiles, consistent with commercial hunting loads.
Condition report:
The overall condition of the trio is fair to poor, exhibiting heavy use and significant finish loss. All three revolvers retain a heavily worn, dark blued or blackened finish, with pervasive scratching and abrasion across the frames and barrels. There is visible surface rust and pitting, particularly concentrated on the cylinders, hammers, and internal mechanism areas, consistent with lack of maintenance. The grips on the H&R STR .022 and the I.A.J.C. WKS. are intact but show wear. The wooden grips on the H&R Model 970 are worn and scratched. The actions appear stiff and heavily fouled due to rust and wear; we have not function-tested these items for reliability or safety. Due to their nature as blank-firing devices, they are sold as collector\'s items only. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
