Condition report:
The overall condition is poor, showing significant neglect and material deterioration. The original nickel plating is nearly entirely absent, estimated at less than 5% remaining, revealing the underlying steel. All metal surfaces exhibit heavy oxidation, deep pitting, and extensive surface rust, particularly on the frame, cylinder, and barrel. The bore condition is dark and heavily pitted. The action appears stiff and sluggish due to corrosion, but the hammer cocks and the cylinder rotates when operated in double-action mode. The top-break latch appears functional. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition and recommend a full inspection by a qualified gunsmith before any attempt at firing. The molded hard rubber grips are intact but show wear consistent with age. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
