Description

This is a Parris Manufacturing style non-firing toy rifle, identified by the prominent sticker as a “1776 Freedom Rifle.” It is modeled after an 18th or 19th-century muzzleloading long gun, likely a Kentucky or Colonial musket pattern. The construction utilizes a rough-cut wooden stock and forend, secured to a metal tube barrel by crude metal bands. The lock plate assembly, hammer, trigger, and trigger guard are made of dark, cast metal, designed for simulated action only. The sticker on the buttstock reads: “1776 Freedom Rifle T.M. Made & Printed in USA Savannah, Tenn. 38372.” This item is a novelty replica and is not classified as a functional firearm.

Condition report:

The ammunition boxes exhibit significant age-related wear, including scuffing, staining, creasing, and minor tears typical of vintage cardboard packaging. The Federal box retains an original vintage price sticker. The Wanda box is sealed in clear plastic wrap, which shows some tears and dirt accumulation. The visible shotshells within the opened Winchester and Federal boxes appear unfired and in very good condition, retaining bright brass bases and intact hulls. This ammunition is sold strictly as a collector\'s item. We have not function-tested this ammunition and make no guarantee regarding its safety or performance. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
