Condition report:
The tools exhibit considerable signs of age, use, and handling consistent with vintage reloading equipment. The metal components, likely steel or cast iron, retain a dark, heavily worn patina with areas of surface oxidation and minor pitting, particularly on the Ideal tool\'s hinge mechanism. The Lyman mold cavities appear generally clean but show evidence of past use. The hardwood handles are stained dark, showing scratches, dings, and wear, but remain securely attached to the tool bodies via the metal ferrules. Both tools appear functionally intact, with the hinges and sprue cutters operating as intended. We have not tested these tools for casting accuracy or performance. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure the safe and proper use of all vintage reloading equipment.
