Lot 1570:
A Collection of 13 Quake Industries Bushwacker Flip Open Scope Covers NOS
Sold for: $55
Description
A substantial collection of thirteen (13) new-old-stock Bushwacker Scope Covers manufactured by Quake Industries. These flip-open style lens covers are sealed in their original retail blister packaging. The covers are predominantly Matte Black and labeled with key features including SPRING OPEN, AIR TIGHT, and SILENT operation. The lot contains a variety of sizes, including several Size 5 and Size 4 covers. One notable exception is a Size 1 cover which appears to be yellow or brass-toned inside its packaging, while all other covers are black plastic. These covers are comparable in function and design to the popular Butler Creek Flip Open scope covers.
Condition report:
The overall condition is excellent, consistent with new-in-box inventory. The matte black finish is nearly 100% intact with minimal handling marks visible on the receiver and barrel surfaces. The synthetic furniture is free of major scratches or damage. The bores of both barrels appear bright and clean. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, locking up securely. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
