Lot 1573:
A Lot of 35 Centerfire Rifle Cartridges in .338 Winchester Magnum, Mixed Manufacturers (Winchester and Federal)
Sold for: $50
Description
This lot consists of 35 live centerfire rifle cartridges chambered in the powerful .338 Winchester Magnum caliber. The lot comprises ammunition originally packaged in two commercial boxes: one Winchester Super-X box and one Federal Premium box. This results in a collection of mixed head stamped ammunition. The Winchester cartridges feature brass casings with headstamps reading W-W SUPER .338 WIN MAG. The Federal cartridges feature a mix of brass and nickel-plated casings, all bearing the headstamp FC 338 WIN MAG. The ammunition is suitable for use in rifles chambered for the .338 Winchester Magnum cartridge.
Condition report:
The pistol exhibits wear consistent with moderate to heavy use. The dark finish on the slide shows significant loss, scratching, and discoloration, particularly along the edges and high points. The matte gray alloy frame retains most of its finish but displays handling marks and minor scuffs. The polymer grips are intact with sharp checkering, showing minor wear but no major cracks or chips. The bore condition is unknown as the firearm was not disassembled, but the muzzle appears clean. The action appears to function correctly when manually cycled, and the decocker/safety mechanism operates. We have not function-tested this firearm or verified headspace. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
