Lot 1594:
A Pair of Vintage Air Pistols: Pioneer G6435 Style and Crosman Powermatic BB Caliber
Sold for: $30
Description
A lot consisting of two vintage non-firearm air pistols.
The first pistol (top) is a break-action air pistol, identified by market consensus as likely a Pioneer Model G6435 or similar variant, chambered for 4.5mm (.177) pellets. It features a black finish and polished light-colored wooden grips secured by two screws. A partial identification number visible near the breech reads B100273.
The second pistol (bottom) is a Crosman AirGuns Powermatic BB pistol. This is a CO2-powered repeater designed for BB caliber ammunition. The pistol features a black frame and barrel assembly with checkered brown polymer grips. The base of the grip includes the adjustment knob for the CO2 cartridge. Visible markings on the frame include Crosman AirGuns, A Coleman Company, FAIRPORT, NEW YORK, U.S.A., PAT. NO. 3924339, and POWERMATIC BB.
These items are classified as non-firearm air pistols.
Condition report:
The metal components retain a high percentage of their original blued finish, showing minor superficial handling marks and light surface wear consistent with field use. The bore appears bright. The primary wear is concentrated on the hardwood buttstock and forend, which exhibit significant cosmetic wear, including widespread scratches, dings, and noticeable finish loss, particularly on the buttstock and high-contact areas. The action appears to function correctly, with the hammer cocking and the break-action opening smoothly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
