Description
A lot of 100 rounds of Federal Top Gun Steel Clay Target Shotshell ammunition, supplied in four factory cardboard boxes of 25 rounds each. This ammunition is 20 Gauge, 2 3/4 inch (70mm) length, loaded with 7/8 ounce of #7 Steel Shot, advertised with a muzzle velocity of 1210 FPS. The packaging is marked "20 GAUGE, " "FEDERAL, " "TOP GUN STEEL, " "25 STEEL CLAY TARGET SHOTSHELLS, " and "ASSEMBLED IN THE USA." The side panel of the box includes the code TG251 7. The individual shells feature yellow polymer hulls and brass-colored low-brass heads. Markings visible on the hulls include "FEDERAL TOP GUN STEEL, " "2 3/4" 70mm, " and "7/8 OZ." This lot is suitable for clay target shooting where steel shot is required.

Condition report:
The original metal finish is entirely worn away, exhibiting a heavy, mottled dark gray and brown patina across all metal surfaces. There is significant surface rust, corrosion, and minor pitting visible on the barrel, frame, and cylinder, consistent with long-term storage in poor conditions. The grips are in good condition relative to the metal, showing a high polish and minor handling marks, though the finish appears possibly refreshed or replaced. The top-break action appears to function correctly in both single and double action modes, though the internal condition of the bore is unknown. We have not function-tested this firearm.
