Description

A single semi-automatic Ruger Carbine rifle chambered in .44 Magnum caliber, serial number 102-80897. This rifle is configured with a blued steel barrel and receiver. The receiver is clearly marked 102-80897 RUGER CARBINE .44 MAGNUM CAL. The barrel is marked with the safety warning: BEFORE USING GUN-READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM STURM, RUGER & CO. INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. The rifle is currently fitted with an ILLUSION by LASER AIM scope mounted via scope rings and a rail system atop the receiver. The original factory front sight is present, though the rear sight has been replaced by the optic mounting base. The wooden stock has been finished in a matte black or dark gray coating, showing significant wear that reveals the underlying brown wood tone in several areas. The buttstock is fitted with a ventilated Pachmayr White Line rubber recoil pad. Quick-disconnect sling swivels are attached to the forend barrel band and buttstock. A folded grey cleaning cloth is included as an accessory.
Condition: The blued finish on the metal components shows moderate operational wear, thinning primarily along the edges and high points, consistent with field use. There are minor handling marks and light scratches visible on the receiver and barrel. The bore condition is not assessed but appears generally clean at the muzzle. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually. The stock finish is worn, exhibiting flaking and abrasion, revealing the original wood beneath the dark coating. The Pachmayr recoil pad is intact. The mounted ILLUSION by LASER AIM scope shows external wear but appears structurally sound. We have not function-tested this firearm for accuracy or safety. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
