Gun Collectors Dream Auction #81 January 31st & Feb 1st
Lot 248:
Sold for: $100
Description
A single lot consisting of a Buck Model 119 fixed-blade utility knife and its associated sheath. The knife features a polished stainless steel clip-point blade with a prominent fuller groove. The handle construction includes a full metal guard, a heavily grooved dark composite grip, and a polished metal pommel cap. The ricasso is clearly marked vertically with the inscription BUCK 119 U.S.A. The accompanying sheath is of hybrid construction, combining a rigid black synthetic body designed to hold the blade with a black leather belt attachment secured by brass rivets.
Condition: The knife is in good overall condition, showing minor surface scuffs and light scratches consistent with handling and repeated sheathing. The blade edge appears intact. The sheath exhibits substantial wear; the leather belt attachment is heavily creased, scuffed, and shows signs of heavy use, though the synthetic body remains structurally sound.
