Lot 272:
Redfield 3X-9X Variable Power Riflescope
Sold for: $110
Description
A vintage Redfield variable-power riflescope, clearly marked "3X-9X Redfield" on the adjustment housing. This model is consistent with US-made Redfield hunting scopes produced during the mid-to-late 20th century, often associated with the Bear Cub or similar traditional lines. The scope features a high-gloss black finish over a metal tube body. The magnification is adjustable between 3 power and 9 power via the knurled ocular end ring. The scope features standard windage and elevation adjustment turrets, with one protective cap visible. The reticle is a simple crosshair design. This is an accessory item and not a firearm.
Condition: The scope is in used condition, exhibiting minor handling marks and surface scratches across the gloss black finish, consistent with standard field wear. There are no major dents or signs of structural damage. The knurling on the adjustment rings remains sharp. The optics appear clear, and the simple crosshair reticle is crisp and centered when viewed through the ocular lens. We have not function-tested the internal tracking mechanisms of the windage and elevation turrets. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding accessories.
