Description
A modern Weatherby Vanguard Badlands bolt-action rifle manufactured by Howa in Japan. This rifle is chambered in 6.5 PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge) and features a heavy sporter barrel profile. The metal components, including the receiver, bolt, and barrel, are finished in a matte Burnt Bronze Cerakote. The synthetic stock features the proprietary Badlands camouflage pattern. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics mounting. Markings visible on the receiver include WEATHERBY SHERIDAN, WY, VANGUARD, and MADE IN JAPAN HOWA. The barrel is marked USE ONLY 6.5 PRC. The visible serial number is VB321630. The rifle is accompanied by its original factory cardboard shipping box, which confirms the model (VGD, BADLANDS) and caliber (6.5 PRC), and a sealed factory accessory bag containing documentation and small parts.
Condition: The rifle appears to be in new or near-new, unfired condition, consistent with a factory presentation. The Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish is 100% intact with no visible wear or scratching. The synthetic stock is excellent. The bolt action appears to function correctly and smoothly. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. We have not function-tested this firearm.
