Description

Sig Sauer Mosquito Semi-Automatic Pistol, Serial Number F105936. This is a modern semi-automatic rimfire pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle (.22 LR). The pistol features a black finished slide and a black polymer frame with integral textured grips. The action is semi-automatic, utilizing a blowback mechanism. Configuration details include an exposed hammer, a frame-mounted decocking lever, and an ambidextrous manual safety lever indicated by a red dot when disengaged. The dust cover features an integral accessory rail. The pistol is accompanied by one detached black polymer box magazine. Visible markings include "SIG SAUER" and "MADE IN GERMANY" on the left side of the slide. The right side of the slide is marked "MOSQUITO" and "SIG SAUER INC / EXETER – NH." The caliber marking "cal. .22 long rifle" is visible in the ejection port area. The serial number F105936 is present on both the slide and the frame. Additional proof marks (BB) and the country code (DE) are visible near the chamber. The frame also bears the warning "READ MANUAL BEFORE USE."
Condition: The black finish on the slide exhibits moderate to heavy wear and abrasion, particularly noticeable on the forward edges of the slide, the muzzle area, and the dust cover rail, showing underlying metal or polymer material. The polymer frame and textured grips show general handling marks and some dirt accumulation, especially around the grip screws. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, including the safety and decocking levers. The bore condition is unknown as the barrel interior is not visible in detail. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws before purchase and use.
