Lot 361:
Large Collection of Mixed Rifle Ammunition and Empty Brass Casings in MTM and Flambeau Boxes
Sold for: $55
Description
A substantial mixed lot of ammunition and empty brass casings suitable for reloading, consistent with the user-provided keywords "Mixed lot of ammunition and empty brass casings." The collection includes both loaded centerfire rifle cartridges and a large quantity of spent brass casings. The components are housed in several plastic storage accessories, including MTM Case-Gard and Flambeau boxes, as identified by web intelligence. The yellow container is marked "Flambeau Cartridge Box Large Rifle, " suggesting common full-size bottlenecked rifle calibers such as .30-06 Springfield, .270 Winchester, or similar rounds. A total of 40 loaded cartridges are organized standing upright in the trays (16 in the yellow box, 10 in the white tray, and 14 in the dark green box). The remaining bulk material, housed in two large plastic containers and two zip-top bags, consists of an estimated 140+ additional items, including spent brass and loose loaded rounds, bringing the total count to approximately 180+ pieces. The lot includes one yellow Flambeau box, one translucent white tray, one neon green container, and one dark green MTM-style container.
Condition: The ammunition components and brass casings are in mixed condition. Many of the spent casings exhibit significant tarnish, fouling, and discoloration, indicating they are used components intended for cleaning and reloading. The loaded cartridges also show varying degrees of tarnish and handling marks. The plastic storage containers are used but structurally sound, showing typical wear and scuffs consistent with range use. We have not function-tested this ammunition and cannot guarantee its safety or reliability. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
