Description

A modern Savage Model 111 bolt-action rifle, configured specifically as a Left Hand Rifle for a left-handed shooter. The rifle is chambered in .30-06 SPRG Caliber. The action features a matte black finish on the barrel and receiver, contrasted by a bright, etched or patterned bolt body. The serial number K158533 is clearly visible on the receiver. The barrel is marked SAVAGE MODEL 111 30-06 SPRG CALIBER and SAVAGE ARMS INC. WESTFIELD, MA. The rifle is manufactured by Savage Arms Inc. of Westfield, MA. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped and currently fitted with two separate Picatinny rail sections for mounting optical sights. The rifle is fitted with a black synthetic polymer stock featuring textured gripping panels on the forend and pistol grip, and includes sling swivel studs.
Condition: The overall condition is good to fair, showing signs of moderate field use. The matte black finish on the barrel shows light patches of surface rust and oxidation, particularly towards the muzzle end. The synthetic stock displays heavy scuffing, residue, and dirt consistent with field carry and storage. The bright metal bolt body shows its original etched pattern. Interior inspection of the receiver action, with the bolt open, reveals visible rust and discoloration, suggesting the rifle requires a thorough cleaning and maintenance. The action appears to function correctly, cycling the bolt and engaging the safety, but we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore condition is unknown without further inspection. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
