Gun Collectors Dream Auction #81 January 31st & Feb 1st
Lot 398:
Sold for: $120
Description
A single Buck USA fixed-blade hunting or survival knife. The knife features a large clip-point blade constructed of stainless steel, incorporating a prominent fuller. The handle is composed of a deeply grooved, textured black synthetic material, flanked by a bright metal finger guard and a matching substantial metal pommel. The ricasso is clearly marked BUCK over USA. The accompanying black nylon sheath features snap closures marked BUCK USA and includes an integrated accessory pouch containing a sharpening device marked AccuSHARP.
Condition: The knife is heavily used and shows significant signs of wear consistent with field use. The bright metal fittings, including the guard and pommel, exhibit heavy scratching, scuffing, and minor dings. The stainless steel blade surface shows minor surface scratches and wear, but the blade appears structurally sound. The cutting edge shows evidence of having been sharpened. The accompanying black nylon sheath is heavily worn, frayed, and shows signs of dirt and debris, but remains functional.
