Description
A single Smith & Wesson Model 340PD AirLite double-action revolver, chambered in .357 S&W Magnum. This lightweight J-Frame revolver is constructed with a black-finished Scandium alloy frame and features a matte gray finished lightweight alloy 5-round fluted cylinder, consistent with titanium construction. The revolver is equipped with custom or aftermarket ergonomic laminated wood grips exhibiting deep reddish-brown coloration and prominent grain. Visible markings include the serial number SCA2054 and model designation 340PD on the yoke cut. The barrel shroud is marked 357 S&W MAG and includes the warning NO LESS THAN 120 GR BULLET. The right side of the frame features the S&W trademark and the AirLite series atom symbol outline, along with the manufacturer address: MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS. The lot includes an orange-tan leather paddle holster manufactured by Galco International.

Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent overall apparent condition, retaining virtually all of its original black finish on the Scandium frame and barrel shroud, with minimal handling marks visible. The lightweight cylinder shows a matte gray finish consistent with titanium construction and exhibits a faint turn line. The custom laminated wood grips are excellent with no chips or cracks. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The double-action mechanism appears to function correctly in both single and double action modes. The included Galco holster shows light use and wear consistent with carry. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
