Description
A modern pump-action shotgun identified by the factory box label as a Mossberg Model 500 Persuader. The firearm is chambered in 12 Gauge and features a matte black finish with synthetic furniture. The receiver is marked Mossberg MADE IN U.S.A. NORTH HAVEN, CONN. 500 12 GA. The serial number U422297 is visible on the receiver and matches the factory box label. The barrel is marked CHAMBERED FOR 2 3/4 AND 3 IN. SHELLS -12 GA – 18 1/2 IN. CYLINDER BORE-. The original factory stock has been replaced with a black synthetic adjustable stock assembly manufactured by ATI (Advanced Technology International), which includes an integrated pistol grip, rubberized buttpad, and a six-position shell carrier mounted to the adjustable stock tube. The fore-end is a ribbed synthetic pump handle fitted with an attached nylon sling. The shotgun is accompanied by its original Mossberg factory box (labeled MAVFG-201, 500 PERSUADER), owner’s manual, and cable gun lock.

Condition report:
The overall metal finish is matte black/blued, retaining approximately 95% of the finish. There are minor handling marks and small surface discoloration spots visible primarily on the receiver, consistent with light use. The bore appears bright and clean with a cylinder choke. The synthetic furniture, including the ATI adjustable stock assembly, is in very good condition, showing minor scuffs typical of handling. The action appears to function correctly, cycling smoothly when operated manually. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
