Description
This lot consists of one (1) U.S. Military M19A1 ammunition can. The M19A1 designation is typically associated with the size used for linked .30 caliber ammunition, though the can is often referred to generically as the ’30 Cal’ can. The container is constructed of metal and finished in a standard Olive Drab (OD Green) military paint. It features a hinged, gasketed lid secured by a lever-style latch mechanism and includes a folding carry handle on the top. Visible markings stamped on one end panel include "19" and "M19A1." A small white inventory sticker marked "36604" is affixed to the side panel. The can is closed and the contents are unknown.
Condition: The ammunition can is in good overall condition consistent with used military surplus equipment. The OD Green finish is largely intact but displays typical minor scuffs, scratches, and finish wear, particularly around the edges and handle hinges. There is light dust and surface grime present. The hinged lid and latch mechanism appear to function correctly, though we have not tested the integrity of the internal seal.
