Description

This lot contains one Davis Industries Model DM-22 double-barrel derringer pistol, Serial Number D440548. The pistol features an over/under barrel configuration and operates via a single-action, break-open mechanism. It is chambered for the .22 MAG (Magnum) cartridge. The entire firearm exhibits a bright, highly reflective chrome or polished nickel finish. The grips are two-piece, constructed of polished reddish-brown wood. Visible identifying markings include DAVIS INDUSTRIES CHINO, CA U.S.A. transcribed on the left side of the barrels, and MODEL DM-22 CAL. .22 MAG. transcribed on the right side of the barrels. The serial number D440548 is stamped on the frame above the trigger guard. The frame also features a safety selector marked PUSH FOR FIRE/SAFE. The pistol is accompanied by a simple, worn, light brown leather pouch/holster.BBL: Not measuredOAL: Not measured
Condition: The pistol is in used condition, retaining approximately 90% or more of its bright chrome or nickel finish. The finish shows minor surface scratches, scuffs, and handling wear consistent with carry and use, particularly visible on the top and sides of the barrels and the butt of the frame. The wooden grips are in very good condition with a deep reddish hue and minor surface marks. The action appears to function correctly, cocking the hammer and allowing the barrels to break open via the latch mechanism. The bores appear bright, but we have not function-tested this firearm. The accompanying leather pouch shows heavy wear, staining, and softening. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
