Description

Smith & Wesson M&P 40 Semi-Automatic Pistol, Serial Number HAF7803. This modern polymer-framed pistol is chambered in .40 S&W. It features a distinctive two-tone configuration, consisting of a Tan/Flat Dark Earth (FDE) polymer frame with an integrated accessory rail, paired with a dark gray/bronze finished slide. The slide is marked M&P 40 and SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. The barrel hood is marked 40 S&W. The frame bears the serial number HAF7803. The pistol is fitted with aftermarket tactical sights, including a V TAC marked rear sight and a Trijicon tritium front sight dated H3 12. The grip is fitted with a black, rubberized, ergonomic textured backstrap/sleeve. This lot includes the pistol and Two Magazines, both black steel bodies fitted with matching Tan/FDE baseplates.
Condition: The pistol is in used, good overall condition. The dark gray/bronze finish on the slide shows noticeable signs of wear, including scuffing and finish loss consistent with regular handling and holster use. The polymer frame is structurally sound with minor surface marks. The aftermarket V TAC and Trijicon sights are clear and functional, with the tritium element dated 2012. The bore appears bright with strong rifling, though this is a visual assessment only. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
