Lot 61:
A Lot of Four Boxes of Fiocchi Flyway Series 12 Gauge 3 inch 1 1/8 oz. #4 Steel Shot Ammunition
Sold for: $50
Description
This lot consists of four factory-sealed boxes (totaling 100 shotshells) of Fiocchi Flyway Series Field Dynamics ammunition. This is high-velocity waterfowl ammunition loaded in the USA. The packaging specifies 12 Gauge, 3 inch (76mm) shells, containing 1 1/8 ounces of Zinc Plated Steel Shot, size #4, rated at 1500 FPS. The shotshells visible inside one opened box feature dark olive-green hulls marked FIOCCHI STEEL WATERFOWL 1 1/8 OZ 76MM 1500 FPS and bright brass-colored bases. The boxes are marked with the product code 123ST4. This ammunition is designed for hunting migratory birds where non-toxic shot is required. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding the purchase and possession of ammunition.
Condition: The ammunition is new old stock (NOS) in its original factory packaging. The four boxes are generally clean, though the top box visible in the close-up image shows minor surface wear, scuffing, and slight tearing of the paper label consistent with storage and handling. The internal view of the shotshells shows them to be clean, bright, and free of visible corrosion or damage. The brass bases are bright and the hulls are intact. The ammunition appears live and ready for use, though we have not function-tested this ammunition.
