Description

This lot consists of 3 pieces of field-used leather accessories, primarily identified through web intelligence as Western horse tack, including flank cinches and associated belts. The grouping of 3 items includes a pair of identical brown leather straps, likely intended as back or flank cinch straps, each stamped with the circular RISTO SPORTS logo and featuring chrome-finished adjustable buckles. These straps exhibit the heavy-duty construction typical of trail or ranch gear. The second item is a wide, thick, double-stitched leather utility belt with a large, tarnished brass-toned buckle. The third item is a lighter brown leather cartridge belt featuring approximately two dozen stitched loops designed for large-caliber ammunition. This cartridge belt bears an illegible stamped manufacturer’s mark near the buckle. The grouping of 3 items shows consistent heavy use, suitable for a collector of Western trail gear or related accessories.
Condition: All leather items display heavy field wear consistent with prolonged use in a Western or trail setting. The leather is stained, discolored, and exhibits significant sweat marks and patina, particularly on the utility belt. The metallic hardware (buckles) shows tarnishing and minor corrosion. Stitching remains generally intact across all 3 pieces, though some areas show fraying. The cartridge belt loops are darkened from residue or oil, suggesting they held ammunition for an extended period. We have not function-tested the belts for structural integrity under extreme stress. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding the possession and display of ammunition accessories.
